Jeremiah Langhorne, chef and co-owner of The Dabney in Washington, D.C., is a culinary talent rooted in the Mid-Atlantic. Raised in Charlottesville, VA, he honed his skills in kitchens there before staging under chef Sean Brock at McCrady’s in Charleston. Langhorne's culinary journey led him to Noma in Copenhagen before returning to McCrady’s as sous chef for over five years. In 2013, he embraced his Mid-Atlantic heritage, opening The Dabney in D.C.'s Shaw neighborhood, renowned for its modern American cuisine with regional and historic influences, featuring a central wood-burning hearth. The restaurant has consistently earned Michelin stars, topped Washingtonian magazine's list in 2023, and Langhorne received the 2018 James Beard Foundation Award. In 2023, Langhorne and his partners introduced Petite Cerise, a French bistro in D.C.’s Shaw area.
